On-Premise Installations

FASTTRAK products may also be installed in a traditional Local Area Network (LAN) configuration utilizing TCPIP communication to the local server database. Because FASTTRAK Global Online Cloud Products were primarily designed to communicate with the Cloud for information & storage, certain setup conditions must be present to configure the product in your local environment.

The essential requirement for installation in a non-Cloud enviornment envolves current customers be running our FASTTRAK  SERVER Edition (Legacy product) or meet the requirements of that product level in order to support the application on-premise.

The requirements below, including but not limited to the following, must be present in an on-premise installation configuration:  

 

  • SERVER Licenses & Network Requirements 
    • Windows Server 2003 / 2008 and/or
    • Windows Terminal Server
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008
    • Configured LAN Network
    • 32 or 64 bit Operating System
    • Thin or Thick Client Stations
    • Server (min req) - support SQL Server and User Applications

 

  • Staffing and Communication 
    • On-Premise or on-call IT Staff
    • Static I/P address
    • Off-site backup storage (.bak)
